Twin Falls Macy's sales manager charged with theft
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) -- A sales manager at the Macy's store in Twin Falls is charged with grand theft after store security officials found nearly $11,000 in fraudulent returns reportedly made by the employee.
The Times-News reports 34-year-old Robert Lisle Bordwell of Twin Falls was arraigned Monday and released on his own recognizance.
A police report indicates Bordwell took clothes from the store and returned them without a receipt, pocketing the cash.
A regional loss prevention officer director reported Bordwell made 60 returns without receipts from August to December 2012. The police report indicates Bordwell acknowledged other thefts that hadn't been accounted for.
Bordwell's preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 28. Court records indicate he has applied for a public defender.
