Baldy Mountain now fully open, Soldier Mountain announces opening date
Sun Valley Resort announced Tuesday that 100 percent of the skiable terrain on Bald Mountain is now open, thanks to significant early season snowfall.

Also, the resort would like remind the public that they have a very limited amount of lodging availability remaining for the Christmas holiday.
Meanwhile, Soldier Mountain told the Idaho Statesman they will be opening their mountain on Dec. 26.
"The hill has 18 inches at the base and 35 at the Summit. Most major runs will be open with the greatest base that we have seen in years," said Ryan Bentley with the resort. "The mountain will be open for daily operations through January 6."
