Boise Fire Dept. responds to house fire in East Boise Wed. morning
Boise Fire responded to a report of a structure fire at a home on the 3900 block of South Yorktown Way early this morning, Dec. 19, around 2:30 a.m.
"Boise firefighters who responded to the scene determined the occupants of the home had been evacuated," said Charles McClure with the Boise Police Department. "The fire caused extensive damage to the home."
Witnesses reported hearing what they thought was an explosion during the fire, but no one was injured.
Boise Fire investigators are on scene to investigate the fire. But for safety reasons, they are waiting for daylight to begin examining the damage to the home.
