Driver sought in fatal Nampa crash arrested
BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- A man suspected of driving a car in a weekend crash that killed a girl in Nampa has been arrested.
According to the Caldwell Police Department, 21-year-old Freddy Camacho-Quezada of Caldwell was arrested Tuesday in Nampa on a $1 million warrant charging him with vehicular manslaughter in the death of 15-year-old Stephanie M. Rodriguez of Nampa.
Idaho State Police say the car was speeding, failed to stop at a stop sign and went off the road at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday. The car rolled and came to rest at the bottom of a dry canal.
Rodriguez died at the scene. Only one of the eight people in the car was not injured.
