94.9 the River's Concert for Cause brings in almost $23,000 for the Women's and Children's Alliance

Idaho On Your Side sister radio station 94.9 the River held their annual Concert for Cause on Saturday, benefitting the Women's and Children's Alliance this year.

According to music director Tim Johnston from the River, "the Knitting Factory earmarked $4 of each ticket sold to Women's and Childrens' Alliance for a total of $3076."

He said the Knitting Factory also donated $750, bringing the total to $3826.

"With the money raised through the raffle and auctions the WCA made $22,600.99," said Johnstone.

The Concert for Cause is an annual event held to benefit a local charity. This year Blind Pilot headlined the concert.
