Bogus Basin has announced that the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation will provide a $100,000 grant to support the new Mountain Dew Terrain Park at Bogus Basin.

“The impact of the Albertson Foundation’s support will greatly improve the park experience and ramp up the satisfaction level of our younger skiers and riders who have been asking for improvements,” said Alan Moore, general manager at Bogus Basin.

According to Moore, the Foundation’s gift will allow Bogus Basin to purchase 10 new features, rebuild 10 existing features, light both sides of Mambo Meadows and increase grooming time and personnel at the Park.

“Affordable outdoor recreation and education at Bogus Basin is what’s best for this community,” said Moore, “and the Albertson Foundation and companies like Pepsi Bottling Ventures are allowing that commitment to continue.”
