Sub teacher arrested on Idaho warrant for lewd conduct with a minor
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) -- Alaska State Troopers have arrested a substitute teacher accused by authorities in Idaho of committing lewd acts with a minor.
KTUU reports troopers have taken 18-year-old Tyler Fishback into custody near Palmer on an outstanding warrant from Madison County, Idaho.
Troopers say the warrant accuses him of two counts of lewd conduct with a child under the age of 16.
A spokeswoman for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District says Fishback was a substitute teacher, not a fulltime instructor, and that he has been fired.
Fishback is being held at the Mat-Su Youth Facility on a $50,000 bond pending extradition.
