Idaho man arrested in Nebraska with 124 lbs. of pot
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- A 68-year-old Idaho man has been arrested in Nebraska, accused of hauling more than 124 pounds of marijuana.
The Nebraska State Patrol says John Henman, of Boise, Idaho, was taken into custody after a traffic stop Monday afternoon near the Lincoln Airport in eastern Nebraska.
The patrol says a trooper was given permission to search the pickup. The patrol says 63 packages of pot were found in a compartment under an external fuel tank in the pickup bed.
A Lancaster County jailer said Henman remained in custody on Tuesday. Online court records don't list the name of his attorney.
