Police find 27 pounds of marijuana left in a rental car
When you return that rental car, make sure to remove all your personal belongings.
Someone in south-central Idaho didn't -- and now law enforcement officers are investigating the discovery of 27 pounds of marijuana found in a rental vehicle left at the Twin Falls airport.
At about 4 p.m. Sunday, emergency dispatchers received a call from a representative of Avis Rent-A Car, who said that a vehicle had been returned with a large amount of marijuana in it. When officers arrived, they found about 27 pounds of marijuana, which was vacuum-sealed in one-pound baggies and placed inside a duffle bag, according to a Twin Falls Police Department news release.
No arrests have been made yet.
