Boise Police looking for suspects in Garfield Elementary vandalism
Boise Police are asking for the public's help to find a person, or persons who caused more than $5,000.00 in damage to a public school building in Boise.
"Employees at Garfield Elementary School on the 1900 block of South Broadway Avenue discovered the damage early in the morning on November 30th and called police," said Chuck McClure with Boise Police. "Evidence suggests the person, or persons attempted to gain entry into a portable classroom building on the school grounds, breaking a reinforced glass window in the first attempt. The suspect or suspects then gained entry to a second portable classroom building by breaking through a double pane glass window."
According to McClure, the suspect or suspects threw a computer on the floor, shredded an American flag and threw items around the room.
Anyone with any information on this case is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS, or log onto www.343cops.com, or text CRIMES or 274637, subject: Tip236. A citizen can remain anonymous.
