Bowls at Baldy to open Thursday
Thanks to big early-season snowstorms, Baldy’s Bowls at Sun Valley’s Mayday lift will open Thursday.
Ski resort officials say three feet of new snow over the past few days has pushed the terrain openings ahead of schedule.
In addition, they say Seattle Ridge and the Seattle Ridge Day Lodge also will open Friday, December 14.
On Dollar, skiers and riders can expect Quarter and Half Dollar lifts and the Accelerator Carpet opening for the season Saturday, December 8.
Other openings include the Lookout Restaurant's new Taco Bar and Carol's Dollar Mountain Lodge, Saturday, December 8 and the Roundhouse Saturday, December 15.
In the Sun Valley Village, skiers can look for the new Konditorei to open Thursday, December 20, followed by the new Deli and A La Mode ice cream and cocoa bar opening Friday, December 21.
Breakfast with Santa in the Sun Valley Lodge Dining Room kicks off this Saturday and Sunday, December 8-9 and continues weekends through December 23. Reservations are recommended, 208- 622-2800.
The Lodge Dining Room is now open nightly at 5:30 pm for dinner.
