Car runs into Boise dental office Sunday night
Sunday, Dec. 2, just before 7:30 p.m., Boise Police were called to the report of a crash at Northview and Cole Road.
"BPD Investigators believe the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when the car left the roadway for an undetermined reason, approximately 150 yards east of Cole on Northview," said Charles McClure with the Boise Police Department. "The car was seriously damaged when it hit a large landscape rock. The car began rolling as it went through a parking lot and across Cole Road, coming to rest against a business located on the southeast corner."
The passenger of the car, a female child, was ejected from the vehicle and received "what officers believe to be serious injuries at the time." The driver, an adult female, was extricated.
Both were transported to the hospital. The woman was treated and has been released from the hospital. The child remains at a local hospital with what appear to be serious injuries.
According to McClure, the investigation may involve toxicology testing, is expected to take some time. No citations have been issued.
