Boise man arrested for allegedly making bomb threat at Boise airport
Boise Police were called Saturday morning, Dec. 1, by airport security near the passenger security area of the Boise Airport Saturday around 7:30 a.m. after a possible bomb threat.
"Security personnel told police the suspect made a comment to officials indicating there may be explosives in his baggage while undergoing security screening," said Boise Police. "The incident caused a delay to multiple flights as officers investigated the incident."
Officers on scene determined there was no bomb, but arrested the suspect. Qasim M. Hussein, 27 of Boise, was arrested on a Felony Charge of False Report of Explosives in a Public Place.
