City Light Home looking for donations for women and children in need
The Boise Rescue Mission's City Light Home for Women and Children is looking for help to ensure a safe and happy holiday season for mothers in need. The home provides food, shelter, clothing, counseling, education and job search assistant for men, women and children in need.
The center will be putting together gift baskets, and are looking for certain items. If you are able to help out in any capacity, please contact Maria McConnell or Shari Raddatz at (208) 343-4680 or Megan Korthals at (208) 861-9295.
List of needed items -
NON-SLIP GRIPPER SOCKS (medium - large)
UMBRELLA (collapsible travel size is best)
TOILETRY ITEMS (regular sized: shampoo, conditioner, brush, deodorant)
WARM PAJAMAS or CASUAL SWEATSUITS (large to 3XL)
ROBE (Large to 3XL)
$5.00 GIFT Card to either Fanci Freeze, Starbucks, McDonald’s
5 Bus Passes ($2.00 single day use) Albertson’s has a 6-use coupon book for $10.00.
1 pocket-size yearly planner
One “Gifty Item” of your choice (jewelry, scented lotion, make-up etc.)
$30.00 gift card to Wal-Mart, Shopko, Target etc.
