Nampa man arrested for pulling knife in downtown Boise bar

Boise Police responded to a report of an aggravated battery at a bar on the 100 block of South 6th Street Thursday night, Nov. 29, around 11:30 p.m.

Witnesses told police the suspect was approached by employees of the bar because he had been flashing a knife in the bar. The employees told police the suspect pulled out the knife and opened it "in a threatening manner."

An employee wrestled the knife away from the suspect, and he was detained until police arrived.

The suspect, Braden K. Tanikuni, 26 of Nampa, was arrested for Felony Aggravated Assault.
