Upside-down American flag stolen from Spokane home
SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- An upside-down American flag that has been flying in the front yard of a Spokane home was stolen over the weekend.
Greg Carman began flying the sign of distress after the election as a political protest. On Saturday night there was a knock on the door. He found a note that said "Obama 2012," and his flag was gone.
Carman told KREM he'll get another flag and keep flying it upside down until the first of the year.
