Nampa School District leader resigns
Another leader of the Nampa School District resigns.
Josh Jensen, the Deputy Superintendent, submitted his resignation to the District swimming in red ink - the $4.3 million deficit the District says was an “error.”
The Nampa School District’s spokesperson sent an email to employees this morning, saying the District was accepting his resignation, effective immediately.
The email also said the District had no plans to fill the Deputy Superintendent position for the remainder of the year.
This comes two months after Superintendent Gary Larsen resigned amidst the budget crisis announcement, and one week after the District named the Interim Superintendent.
The District said they want to thank Jensen for “all of his contributions over the years.”
