Boise Police were called Saturday morning, Nov. 17, on a report of a stolen pickup truck from a residence on North Houston Road around 6:00 a.m. The victims told police someone broke into their garage and stole a pickup truck parked inside.

"During the theft, evidence indicates the truck struck the garage door, causing damage to the door, before the thief opened it and fled the scene in the truck," said Boise Police. "Approximately one hour later officers received a report of a suspicious person seen leaving a parking garage near 8th and Broad wearing little clothing with blood across his chest and head."

Officers found the vehicle and determined it was the stolen pickup from earlier that morning. They stopped the driver in a parking lot on Fairview Avenue and noticed the driver appeared to be intoxicated. He was wearing only boxer shorts. For his own safety, the driver, Adrian Paz Jr., 19 of Notus, was transported to the hospital for observation.

Paz was arrested on charges of Felony Grand Theft, Felony Driving Under the Influence and Malicious Injury to Property.
