Garden City Police investigate aggravated battery
On Sunday, November 18th, 2012, at about 1:30 A.M., Garden City Police responded to the 8500 block of State Street in reference to a report of an Aggravated Battery. The victim, who is a 48 year old resident of Garden City, reported that he was in the 8300 block State Street, when he got into a physical confrontation with three men.
During the altercation the victim was struck several times with a baseball bat. The suspects fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers. The incident was witnessed by a citizen who lives near that location.
The victim was transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The suspects, were described as being in their late 20's, two were Hispanic males approximately 5’7” tall, and the third was a dark complected male approximately 6’ tall.
