Boise Fry Company makes Yahoo's list of Best French Fries in America
Boise Fry Company first made news even before they opened their doors in 2009 when the Idaho Potato Commission forced them to change their original name, which was the Idaho Fry Company. The commission has a trademark on the word "Idaho" along with any potato product in the same name, so the company changed their name to Boise Fry Company.
Things have only gone up from there.
Tuesday, Yahoo Travel announced their list of best french fries in America and Boise Fry Company is on the list.
"With a slogan that reads 'burgers on the side,' you know this is a place serious about its spuds," said the review. "The potato reigns supreme in this state, and between the vast selection of sauces, seasonings, and spritzers, it’s possible to never try the same thing twice. The ordering goes like this: walk in, choose from six varieties of potato including purple, yam, and sweet, then decide how you’d like it cut."
You can then choose your sauces and decide whether or not you'd like a "burger on the side."
