Two Canyon County deputies injured in shooting to be honored at Saturday's Boise State game
The two Canyon County deputies who were injured last month in a Caldwell shooting incident will receive a special treat from the Boise State football team before their game against Colorado State on Saturday.
According to Joe Decker with Canyon County, the deputies and their families will have a chance to spend some time on the blue turf of Bronco Stadium and receive official Boise State footballs autographed by Head Coach Chris Petersen.
"After taking photos on the blue turf, the deputies and their families will head to their seats to watch the game," said Decker. "The game day experience is a token of appreciation from Bronco Athletics, honoring the deputies for their service and putting their lives on the line to protect others."
