Man dies outside Caldwell Sunday after being hit by car
Friday, Nov. 9, just before 6:30 p.m., Idaho State Police were called to a crash in Canyon County involving a pedestrian.
According to ISP, John Myers, 68 of Caldwell, was traveling west on Old Highway 30 near Burger Lane, north of the junction of I84 and US20/26. A male subject was walking alongside the road, also westbound. Myers struck the pedestrian, who died at the scene of the crash as a result of his injuries.
The name of the pedestrian is not being released, pending notification of family.
