We now know the name of the woman, who was hit twice, during a shooting at her home in Garden City.

Police are investigating this case, as a drive-by shooting. We talked to the woman's fiancé. He told us the victim’s name is Lisa Bolton. He said she's doing okay, after having surgery for her gunshot wounds.

Garden City Police said they were called out to the scene at around 5:30 a.m. on Friday. They said someone shot Bolton twice, while she was inside her trailer on East 44th Street in Garden City.

Her fiancé said he woke up to the sound of her scream. "After she started screaming, I said ‘Are you okay? What's the matter? She said ‘I don't know, it burns.’ I took her pants off and she'd been shot in the leg and in the arm," he said.

Officers said the shot had come from outside the trailer, but the bullet went through the walls and hit the woman.

Garden City Police said they've had a busy week. Just last week, officers found a man's body hidden beneath a home. However, police said the two incidents are most likely not related.

"It’s just been a bad couple of weeks for us. This is not the norm for Garden City to have this kind of crime occur in this frequency," said Garden City Police Sgt. Jerry Walbey.

Neighbors told us they still can't believe the violence that’s going on in their own backyards.

Police said they're still looking for the shooter. According to investigators, a witness saw a white extended cab pickup truck, possibly a Ford, drive away right after the shooting.
