Police looking for missing teenager, son
The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a runaway from the Caldwell area.
Investigators say 16-year-old Casandra Valadez is approximately 5’4” and weighs 125 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen August 29 leaving her parent’s home.
Casandra is believed traveling with her one-year-old son, Christian and a man identified as 30-year-old Jose Antonio Duran Lizarraga of Mexico.
Sheriff’s Office investigators say he is currently a “person of interest” – meaning police simply want to question him -- in the case of the missing teenager. He is known to have worked at a number of orchards and dairies throughout the Treasure Valley. He is also to have used a number of aliases.
At this point, investigators do not believe foul play is involved.
Anyone with information regarding the couple and the infant is encouraged to contact the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office at either 454-7480 or 454-7531.
