Plasma center set to be built in Boise
BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- A plasma collection facility has received a permit to build a center in Boise.
The Idaho Statesman reports in a story published Monday that BioLife Plasma Services plans to build the 16,000-square-foot center that will cost about $3.9 million.
Boise Building Director Jenifer Gilliland says the company has about a year to start work.
The center is expected to employ about 50 workers and collect plasma from up to 6,000 customers.
