Boise State University launching new Ph.D. program
Boise State will be formally announcing a new doctoral program in Public Policy and Administration Friday morning.
"Practical in its design, the program will prepare students for careers in public and nonprofit organizations, policy research in natural resource, environmental, science and other areas of public policy in government, nonprofits, advocacy groups and consulting organizations, as well as academic teaching/research positions," said Frank Zang with Boise State University.
Zang said that the new Ph.D. program will be the first in the College of Social Sciences and Public Affairs, and "builds on the work on an internationally recognized faculty, a well-respected master’s degree program in public administration, and a cadre of regionally recognized policy research centers."
Applications for the fall of 2013 will be accepted beginning Dec. 15, 2012. More information is available here.
The Launch of new doctoral program in public policy and administration will take place at the Idaho Statehouse Friday, Nov. 2 at 8:15 a.m.
