According to Canyon County, a benefit account has been set up with IDADIV Credit Union to assist the Canyon County Deputy who was released from the hospital on Saturday after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in the line of duty.

Monetary donations can be made at any IDADIV Credit Union location in the Treasure Valley. Just mention the “injured Canyon County Deputy account” when making your donation.

All other donations (cards, baskets, gift cards, etc.) can be dropped off at the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office at 1115 Albany Street in Caldwell. Donations brought in before 3:00 p.m. will be delivered to the injured deputy on the same day. Donations after 3:00 p.m. will be delivered on the following day.

"The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office wishes to thank the community for their overwhelming concern, generosity and support over the past week," said Joe Decker with the county.
