Meridian Police arrest two men after rash of car burglaries reported
Meridian Police arrested two men after receiving a call on a car burglary Tuesday morning.
According to Sgt. Stacy Arnold with the Meridian Police Department, multiple car burglaries were reported early Tuesday morning, Oct. 30, near the Chinden Blvd. and Linden Road area. After police responded to the scene, they found two men in a car nearby around 5 a.m.
Sgt. Arnold said the men, Genaro Regin, 19 of Star, and Endi Miljkovic, 18 of Boise, were found sitting in the car in the 1800 block of Sheep Hill Creek and were questioned. After an investigation by police, both men were arrested on nine felony counts of burglary and one count each of misdemeanor petit theft and possession of burglary tools.
