The Idaho Lottery will be kicking off the sixth annual edition of the Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle. The $10 tickets went on sale Wednesday morning, Oct. 31, at 4 a.m.
“The Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle continues to be one of the most anticipated games of the year by our players and holiday shoppers,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “This game has become a gift giving tradition and with more chances to win, we look forward to selling this game out before Christmas.”
Ticket prices for the game are $10 each and limited to only 250,000. Tickets will remain on sale until 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2012 or until the last ticket is sold. So far, the Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle has sold out three times before Christmas.
“Over the years, many of our big winners have had Raffle tickets purchased throughout the entire run of the game, beginning as early as buying them on the first few days,” added Anderson.
Players will need to keep their tickets in a safe place until just after the holidays. The winning numbers announcement for this year’s Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle will take place on January 2, 2013 at 6 p.m.
