Washington State University student dies in dorm
PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) -- A Washington State University student died despite the effort of other students in his dorm to revive him.
WSU Police Chief Steve Hanson told KREM officers responding to a 911 call found 18-year-old Kenneth Hummel unconscious just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday at Stephenson Hall. Students were performing CPR.
He was taken to Pullman Regional Hospital where he died.
An autopsy should determine the cause of death. Police do not suspect a crime.
