Feds investigating N. Idaho disabilities complaint
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) -- The Department of Education Office for Civil Rights is investigating a disability discrimination complaint against North Idaho College.
The Coeur d'Alene Press reports in a story published Friday that the federal agency is investigating a student's complaint involving the use of a service animal and a special accommodation.
Fifty-nine-year-old Anthony Cruz filed an Americans with Disabilities Act complaint against the school in September.
NIC spokeswoman Stacy Hudson says the school's disability policies follow federal law.
