Mountain lion sighted near Nampa golf course
The Nampa Police Department says a mountain lion was spotted about 8:15 this morning near the Centennial Golf Course in Nampa, at 11th Ave. North and Ridgecrest Drive
According to the Police Sergeant Tim Randall, “A man was walking his dog along the canal (near the Golf Course) and came face-to-face with the mountain lion as it was following him.”

The man was not uninjured, according to police. The mountain lion then apparently ran off.
Police say the Golf Course has also spotted what appears to be mountain lion paw tracks in the sandy areas along the course.
Nampa Police and Fish and Game officers are on the scene.
There have been a number of reported sightings of the mountain over the past few weeks, mainly in Ada County, along the Boise River.
We have a crew en route and will bring you the latest on this developing story.
