Bail lowered for Seattle lawyer accused of rapes
SEATTLE (AP) -- Bail for a Seattle lawyer accused of raping massage therapists was lowered from $3 million to $1 million at a hearing Thursday in King County Superior Court.
KOMO Radio reports there would be another hearing before Danford Grant is released from jail to set restrictions and monitoring requirements.
Grant is accused of five assaults against four women since July. He pleaded not guilty Oct. 10.
The 47-year-old is a partner in a Seattle law firm and previously worked in the Seattle city attorney's office.
