34 write-in candidates registered for Idaho ballot
BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- Undecided Idaho voters can choose from more than just the front-runners when weighing names for the presidential ballot.
Thirty-four write-in candidates have filed the necessary paperwork with the Idaho Secretary of State's Office.
The Idaho Statesman reports that Santa Claus, a resident of the Lake Tahoe resort town of Incline Village, Nev., has filed the paperwork, along with comedian Roseanne Barr and Texas inmate Keith Judd.
Three of the write-in candidates are from Idaho: The Rev. Merepeace-Msmere of Boise, Gerald Warner of Moscow and Chance White of Pocatello.
The printed ballot will include the names of President Barack Obama, Republican challenger Mitt Romney, Libertarian Gary Johnson, former Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson, former U.S. Rep. Virgil Goode of Virginia, and Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
