The folks at Bogus Basin hope the early snow fall is a good sign. This comes on the heels of the latest opening season on record.

The video from bogus Monday shows a much different picture than the ones we saw the day after Christmas last year. While it's not a sure thing, the ski area hopes the three to four inches of powder that fell today is the beginning of a promising season.
Last season, Bogus Basin did not open until January 19.
