Oregon man pleads guilty to video voyeurism
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) -- An Oregon man has pleaded guilty to video voyeurism in Idaho.
The Times-News reports that Rojelio E. Rosales pleaded guilty to the charge Monday in Twin Falls County's 5th District Court. In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors agreed to drop a felony rape charge against the 53-year-old Nyssa, Ore. man.
A grand jury indicted Rosales on charges of rape, felonious administering of drugs and video voyeurism in February after a woman told prosecutors that she got sick after drinking wine Rosales had poured for her, and remembered the next day that he'd touched and photographed her.
On Sept. 1, a jury acquitted Rosales on the drug charge, but couldn't reach a verdict on the rape and video voyeurism charges.
Rosales is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 17.
