Dynamis drama continues
Ada County Commissioners Rick Yzaguirre and Sharon Ullman created an industrial park designation at the county landfill.
They passed a resolution to help the permitting process for the controversial Dynamis waste-to-energy project.
The attorney for landowners who oppose the facility says the county violated the law.
"Yes we do believe the move by the commissioners this morning was illegal," attorney Andrew Schoppe said. "It's one more instance in a long string of illegal activities by them on the Dynamis plan specifically."
Dynamis opponents say the county can only change a zoning designation through an ordinance, not a resolution. And Schoppe argues that requires more public input than the hastily arranged meeting this morning.
County attorney Ted Argyle tells Today's Six that the commissioners did nothing illegal and that the public had plenty of comment during previous meetings.
