Police: Man found in canal died of natural causes
BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- Idaho State Police say a 68-year-old Weiser man found dead in an irrigation ditch likely died of natural causes while driving his vehicle.
Authorities tell the Idaho Statesman that Jerry Greenawald's 1997 Land Rover Discovery went off the left shoulder of Olds Ferry Road just before 1 p.m. Thursday and went into the canal.
Police say Greenawald wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
