Injury accident sends man to hospital
On Friday October 19th, 2012, around 4:00p.m, Idaho State Police were called to an injury crash eastbound on US30 at milepost 265.5, at the western edge of Burley.
20-year old Brent Osterhout of Declo was traveling east on US30 when he crossed the center line and went into westbound lanes. Osterhout overcorrected to the right, coming back into the eastbound lanes and then overcorrected to the left again. That's when his vehicle rolled over on the dividing live between eastbound and westbound traffic.
Osterhout was ejected from his vehicle and transported by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello for treatment.
Traffic was blocked for nearly two hours. The crash is still under investigation.
