Wild, Wild West experience in the town of Star, coming soon!
The Wild, Wild West experience is coming soon to the town of Star! Construction for a giant cowboy-themed event center is almost finished.
The owners said this 65,000 square-foot event center is expected to cost a total of about $7 to $8 million. It's a pretty big multi-purpose center for the small town.
According to the owners, the venue can be used for parties, meetings, wedding and other events.
The western theme will be pretty obvious, as saloons and a small old western-themed town are expected to be built in the front of the building.
The center will also feature an indoor and outdoor area for horse training and events at the 3k ranch.
"To create a western environment, western heritage and values for many of the people moving into the area, and those from the Boise valley, Boise, and the city of Meridian," said Larry Knapp, Owner.
Knapp said construction is expected to be fully complete by December.
Right now, the place is being used for an Indiana Jones themed haunted house. It's located on 24090 Blessinger Road in Star. The haunted house will be open, starting at 6 p.m. Thursday to Sunday until October 31st.
