Power Up Live! packs Idaho Center
Rudy Giuliani & Sarah Palin talk exclusively to Don Nelson
Several thousand people packed into the Idaho Center for “Power Up Live!", an event touted as a leadership forum, and some big names kicked off the inaugural event.
Known as “America’s mayor”, former New York City mayor, Rudy Giuliani, inspired the crowd with his firsthand account of the events happening at Ground Zero on September 11, 2001. He also spoke of the challenges of leading the country’s largest city.
Another big name took the stage today, former vice presidential candidate and former governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. Palin talked about overcoming challenges, both professionally and personally, and she didn’t forget her Idaho roots.
Idaho on Your Side’s Don Nelson sat down for exclusive interviews with each of the political powerhouses. They chatted about everything from Idaho potatoes and Idaho roots to the terror attacks and baseball.
