Man convicted of 14 DUIs is sentenced to life in prison
Terry Ash, a man convicted of 14 different DUIs over his lifetime, including eight felony convictions, has been sentenced to life in prison. Judge Patrick Owen told Ash he was a "menace to society" and he felt the need to protect the public.

Ash received his 14th DUI September 4, 2011 after crashing into a car in Kuna with a .13 blood alcohol content. He will be eligible for parole in 15 years when he is 70 years old. Judge Owen also suspended Ash's license, but the suspension will not begin until Ash is released on parole.
