Man attempts to pay county fines with counterfeit money
Pocatello Police say a man has been arrested after paying his county fines with counterfeit bills. According to KIFI-TV in Idaho Falls, the man passed the bills at the Bannock County Courthouse.
"[Police] said Wednesday that the suspect paid off fines with cash," according to KIFI. "But courthouse officials discovered later the bills used to pay those fines were counterfeit."
The man's name has not been released.
