Drawing attention to domestic violence
Hanging the topic out for everyone to see. That's the idea behind the clothesline project.
You can take a look at Boise State University right now. It's about drawing attention to domestic violence. Victims and survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence created t-shirts with a personal meaning.
"It's a way to bring a topic that has lived in the dark for many years out in the open and hang it out for people to see and talk about it," said Colleen Steinman of the Women's and Children's Alliance.
The t-shirt displays are also hanging at 50 businesses throughout the Treasure Valley.
