Line wraps around building for Boise's first day of early voting
By the number of people waiting in line on Monday, you’d think election day had arrived.
Some people came to the first day of early voting because they’re going to be out of town in a few weeks; others wanted to knock something off their to-do list.
But people who wanted to vote early to beat the lines were in for a surprise.
Hundreds waited up to an hour to vote.
"I was suprised to see a line, but I guess I was excited to see people motivated to come out early," said voter Debra Cooper-Stewart.
Early voting in Ada County continues through November 2 at 400 N. Benjamin in Boise. Poles are open 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.
