The Ada County Coroner has identified the man whose body was found in Ann Morrison Park Sunday evening as James Allen, 47 of Boise.
Coroner Erwin Sonnenberg said the autopsy revealed no obvious signs of injury, but a toxicology test has been ordered. Until the results are returned, Sonnenberg will not be able to list a cause or manner of death.
The body was found in a canal near a duck pond Sunday, Oct. 14, by people in the park taking photos. Allen was pronounced dead at 6:45 p.m. Sunday but the date and time of death was listed as Oct. 12 at 12:01 a.m.
