Nampa School District looking for public comment on how to solve budget shortfall
The Nampa School District’s Budget Committee is looking for opinions from the community to identify ways to save money and to generate revenue.
"The committee will review the ideas and use them as it develops recommendations to the Nampa Board of Trustees on how to address the district’s $4.3 million projected deficit," said Allison Westfall with the school district.
You can submit your ideas electronically, on paper or in person. Written responses must be received by noon Monday, Oct. 15.
· Electronically – Using a link on the district’s website or this link; http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NSDBudgetSolutions
· Paper – Using the form posted on the district’s website and mailed or dropped off at the district office, 619 S. Canyon St., Nampa, ID, 83686;
· In person – 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 16, the committee will listen to ideas from the public. Speakers will be limited to 3 minutes. The location will be announced shortly.
