Idaho Falls man dies after tractor overturns
On Tuesday, October 9 just before 3:30 pm, Idaho State Police were called a one-vehicle fatality crash north on State Highway 28 just south of Lone Pine.
Steven D. Strickling, 49 of Idaho Falls, was driving north in a 2007 Kenworth Tractor hauling a load of road mix when he drove off the right shoulder of the roadway, lost control, and drove back onto the road where his truck overturned, coming to rest on its driver's side in the south lane of travel. The impact of the crash caused part of the load to scatter on the highway and roadside.
Strickling was trapped in his vehicle where he succumbed to his injuries.
