Prosecutor: Fatal Twin Falls stabbing started with fistfight
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) -- A prosecutor says the weekend stabbing death of a Twin Falls man began with a fistfight with another person he hardly knew.
Jerimiah Paiz died of stab wounds early Saturday the Canyon Crest Dining and Event Center, located on the rim of the Snake River Canyon.
Cayde Lish of Twin Falls was taken into custody.
The Twin Falls Times News reports investigators aren't sure who started the fight.
Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs said Monday that it does not appear the two men had ongoing problems with each other or knew each other well.
He says investigators are studying witness statements to find out what was said before the fight.
