Folks have a new way to get around Meridian.
The city officially opened a new walking path Monday. It's called the Five Mile Creek Pathway. It will connect Fairview with Pine at Locust Grove.
The City of Meridian has been trying for years to offer more biking and walking paths for it's residents.
